Do I need to know my NMFC code to ship on EchoShip?
NMFCs are not required to receive a quote but are highly recommended to ensure accurate
pricing and avoid additional carrier charges. If you are unfamiliar with NMFC classifications,
use EchoShip's free NMFC lookup tool that allows you to search by Keywords and Categories
to estimate the best code suited for your freight. You can find the lookup tool by clicking the
magnifying glass icon above the Freight Class entry field when getting a quote.
What information is required to receive a quote from EchoShip?
It's extremely easy to quote on EchoShip! The only required elements are Origin, Destination,
Pickup Date, Weight, and Freight Class. However, we recommend adding as much detail as
possible to your shipment details to ensure the most accurate quote.
Can I ship mixed pallets on EchoShip?
Absolutely! If you frequently ship mixed pallets and typically rely on your Echo representative
to build these shipments, do not worry. EchoShip has full functionality to support mixed pallet
quoting and booking.
How can I customize my account?
EchoShip allows you to set filter preferences to see the details that matter most, save frequently
shipped load information, manage saved items, and create new items for future shipments.
