Echo to Highlight Big Data at 2019 CSCMP Edge Conference

I’m excited to announce Echo Global Logistics’ participation in the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals’ (CSCMP) 2019 Edge Conference in Anaheim, California September 15-18. This year, I’ll be joined by other leaders from Echo to discuss how we simplify transportation and analyze data for supply chain efficiency.

The annual event draws 3,000+ supply chain management professionals during the three-day period and features over thirty hours of educational content from industry leaders across the country. It’s a great opportunity to make connections with leaders and influencers from other companies and have meaningful conversations about critical developments in our industry.

At the conference, Echo will discuss how we leveraged the power of big data to solve shipyard and supply chain inefficiencies for Newell Brands, one of our clients and a global consumer products company that includes household names such as Rubbermaid, Yankee Candle, Sharpie, and more. Using examples from electronic logging device (ELD) data, we’ll share how we identified areas for improvement and provided supply chain recommendations based on strategic insights.

The presentation will provide takeaways on how companies can optimize their data to achieve similar benefits for their business. In addition, Echo will host an open house reception on Monday, September 16 in Southern California during the conference.
