National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDAW) runs from September 10-16, and we at Echo Global Logistics are proud to support the nearly 4 million men and women who keep our national economy and industry moving with their hard work. Throughout NTDAW, carriers, shippers, and logistics firms such as Echo celebrate and thank everything these drivers do to deliver freight on time, securely and safely.

The truck drivers that keep all of us moving deal with numerous challenges daily. From navigating heavy traffic to managing deliveries in severe weather and other harsh conditions to adapting to changing industry regulations, the work of a driver can be demanding, and we appreciate everything they do to transport goods and keep businesses operating. It's the diligence and dedication of these individuals that allows Echo to move 16,000 loads each day for clients across the country. 

Echo aims to consistently equip carriers and drivers with the support they need which has led to our trusted, long-standing relationships. We're able to do this through innovative technology like our easy-to-use web portal and mobile app that gives carriers real-time access to search, bid, book, manage, track, and get paid on freight hauled for Echo. EchoDrive users can submit bids and receive instant notification of a counteroffer or acceptance. Additionally, users can personalize their experience by setting up real-time email notifications for new loads that become available on any desired lane in EchoDrive and save preferred lanes to reduce the time spent on load searches. In conjunction, we offer a rewards program that provides drivers with an array of benefits including early freight access, discounts on truck leases, fuel, maintenance, and other advantages to enhance the experience of hauling loads with Echo.

For this year’s NTDAW, we're extending our support of truckers by donating to the St. Christopher Truckers Development and Relief Fund (SCF). The SCF is a registered nonprofit which provides support to over-the-road and regional semi-truck drivers and their families when an illness or injury has caused them to be out of work. Assistance can take the form of direct payment to providers for household expenses including rent or mortgage, vehicle payments, and insurance. This program came about after identifying unmet access for many truck drivers for different support structures they may require.
