The State of the Global Supply Chain: Echo Global Logistics at CSCMP EDGE 2024

Echo Global Logistics will once again be sponsoring the upcoming Council of Supply Chain Management (CSCMP) EDGE 2024 conference in Nashville, Tennessee, from Sept. 29-Oct. 2. At this year’s conference, a few of Echo’s experts will be focusing on consolidation in shipping and how technology-enabled solutions can optimize supply chains.

With many of Echo’s leadership team in attendance, including CIO Zach Jecklin and EVP of LTL Frank Hurst, CSCMP is a great opportunity to meet with industry figureheads and discover new ways to innovate transportation solutions. This year, we’re also proud to greet clients and those interested in our offerings with new and exclusive engagements:

  • Scott Friesen, Echo’s EVP of Strategic Analytics, will join a panel discussion titled: Artificial Intelligence and Supply Chain
This session presents an insightful panel discussion where executives from industry-leading companies will delve into the groundbreaking applications of Artificial Intelligence (including Gen AI) in supply chain and global logistics management. Panel members will share real-world examples and success stories that showcase how AI is augmenting supply chain practices. Gain valuable insights into how businesses are leveraging AI-driven solutions to enhance the client experience, increase efficiencies and reduce operating costs to drive competitive advantage in today’s fast paced marketplace.

Monday, Sept. 30 from 1:45-2:30 p.m. located in the Ryman Studio MNO
  • Frank Hurst will present a spotlight session titled: Meet OTIF Requirements with Consolidated Shipping Solutions
Meeting OTIF requirements is imperative when working with big box retailers and having to fill other partial loads can cause delays due to multi-stop deliveries. By working with a partner that embraces consolidation, multiple suppliers that all ship to the same big box retailer can be consolidated into the same load. This results in less handling and more direct shipping, lowering the risk of damaged goods and costs associated with such damages. In addition to reducing costs and improving efficiency, this solution also helps retailers reduce their carbon footprint. Join Frank Hurst to discover how a consolidation program can help simplify shipping into big box retailers.

Monday, Sept. 30 from 3-3:45 p.m. located in Washington B (on Level 2, adjacent to the Presidential Ballroom)
  • Booth #417: Putt to Win
Stop by Echo’s booth at CSCMP EDGE to participate in a ‘Putt to Win’ challenge. Whether you’re a golf pro or just love a good game, this is your chance to win amazing prizes, including merch signed by Echo-sponsored PGA TOUR player Denny McCarthy!
